Application end of the Green Alley Award 2017 approaches: 25th July

Those who are still tinkering with their application for our founders' award, have only a few weeks left to the finalization of the pitch deck. Below, you can read what needs to be kept in mind. Additionally, Green City Solutions will share  some helpful tips. In the founder's diary of Adaptavate, you will get to know more about next milestones.

Final spurt Green Alley Award 2017: application period ends July 25th

As of now, European start-ups get the opportunity to apply for our Circular Economy business competition. Regardless of whether you offer a service, technology or product - the only condition we have is that your idea must be related to the topic waste or recycling. This year we will also have a focus on the dealings with chemicals. Start-ups can apply online by 25th July by following our application guidelinesApply here.

An interview with jury member Alexis Figeac

Alexis Figeac is one of our new faces in the jury of the Green Alley Award 2017. We asked him how he got to establish the EU funded R2Pi project and what motivates him to support start-ups, especially from the circular economy. Read more.



The new packaging law in Germany

Since mid-may it is official – the Federal Council of Germany passed the new packaging law. As of January 1st, 2019, in Germany, higher recycling ratios will be applied, beverages that used to be deposit-free will be charged a deposit, the reuse quota of all beverage containers aims to increase from 40 to at least 70 percent. We have created a useful overview.
